On 27 & 28 September 2018 the Isaac Beeckman Foundation, in cooperation with the University College Roosevelt at Middelburg, organized the Conference Isaac Beeckman in Context – Science, the Arts, and Culture in the Early Dutch Republic. For more practical information, please see below.

A booklet with abstracts will be handed out to the participants. Included in this brochure will be the short ‘Beeckman City Tour’ through Middelburg, with places of interest related to the history of science, the arts and culture in Middelburg in the seventeenth century.
